TIS.kis sign double deal with Eronet

Extending its successful partnership with Bosnian and Herzegovinian mobile operator Eronet, TIS.kis Announces the closure of 2 contracts which will see them provide OTA device management platform and Messaging Gateway.

The first deal will see TIS.kis provide its VAS messaging gateway (MGW) to Eronet. MGW is a messaging platform that enables quick and easy launching and managing of VAS services, SMS, MMS, LBS and WAP push. The MGW effectively allows the operator to open up and resell its infrastructure to 3rd parties wishing to launch VAS services in a controlled environment, allowing them to define billing, throughput and to compile comprehensive statistics. MGW uses parlayX specifications aiming to provide the operator with a standard protocol for their 3rd party VAS partners. TIS.kis will also provide SDK’s for 3rd  parties simplifying the process of developing services.

In a separate deal TIS.kis also announces that it will deliver its OTA device management platform to Eronet. Allowing the operator to remotely configure subscriber’s mobile devices, OTA configures GSM/CSD, GSM/SMS, GSM/USSD, IS-136/CSD, MMS and GPRS settings as well as pushing HOMEPAGE and BOOKMARK URLs to the subscriber. It supports the standardized OMA device provisioning protocol and also sends advanced settings such as SyncML, e-mail and Wireless Village.
