TIS.kis ties up further deal with Simobil.
- February 2004 -
A contract was recently signed with Slovenian based GMS operator to implement TIS.kis’s MGW (messaging gateway) and to make it possible for Value Added Service providers to connect to its infrastructure.
The project will give Simobil’s business users the opportunity to rent its basic networking systems. By using the MGW users will be able to hire bandwidth for MMSC’s, SMSC’s and WAP gateways (for push notification). This also allows users to start their own SMS, MMS and WAP services.
Another part of this deal is to implement TIS.kis’s evolutionary SMS broadcast system. The SMS broadcast system is a new programming product based on its SS7 server. This system will provide massive SMS distribution by eliminating the need for a SMS centre but instead directly uses the GSM operator's switchboard.
The SMS broadcast system is implemented within the operator’s infrastructure and provides significant relief on SMSC by taking over the whole of the Value Added Service distribution.
This contract further goes to prove that TIS.kis is a leader in mobile messaging solutions and platforms and is a preferred choice of company to work with.
